Sue Pruett, MDA
Hello, my name is Sue Pruett and I am a Master Decorative Artist with the Society of Decorative Painters. I started painting in 1977 as a hobby it shortly became my passion and then my job.
To earn the title of Master Decorative Artist requires passing a series of four painting tests on specific subjects, such as Strokework, Still Life, and Florals. This title took me eight years of studying and practice. I am now one of the judges for this certification program with. Even though being a judge is a volunteer assignment I do it proudly to give back what this program has given me in return.
I am a native Californian and reside in Oceanside with my husband Chris and our two daughters Kristina, 20, and Nicole, 18, and our dog Hershey, a dark chocolate (semi-sweet) Labrador, and our cat Romeo, the lover.
I have been teaching painting for 25 years and my passion is as strong as it was the day I started painting. My teaching takes me to wonderful people and places in our nation and abroad. The friendships along the way are an extra bonus, which feeds my passion.
I've received many accolades along my 25 year journey, which, if interested, you can read on Noteworthy News.
Feel free to e-mail me or call to inquire about classes and traveling to your area.
Best Regards,
Sue Pruett MDA
