Murals by Sue Pruett

Murals by Sue, including Faux techniques, wall glazes etc., are custom made for the client. I work with your ideas and concept and create my own design or copy your own artwork. Price is based on the square footage, time spent and supplies to be used. I've done all sizes from 8' x' 8' to 100' x 27'.

If you are interested in a mural I will come to the mural location and listen to your ideas, it's best if you have an idea in your mind by gathering photos, pictures from magazines, etc, also a budget to work with is preferred.

You will then receive a rendering from me which is a mock painting of the mural or glazing technique. After you approve the rendering you will sign a contract and any changes made to the mural will be priced accordingly.

The following represents a sampling of the murals that you can find in the local area.

This mural is in downtown Oceanside near the water. The size is 100'x27' and is located on the corner of Pier View Way and Tremont, which is the backside of the Sunshine Brooks Theatre located on Hwy. 101 and is across from City Hall. The postcards, which are 12'x18' in size, represent Oceanside's most unique points of interest. It was completed in June 2002.

This 20' x 50' mural is painted on the front wall of the sanctuary. It's very peaceful and the congregation love's it for this reason. Completed 2001.

Located in Oceanside, CA. measuring 14' x 11' this Trompe L'oeil "fool the eye" mural adds depth and illusion. Completed 2001.

Located in Del Mar, CA this mural is 5' x 19' and is painted above a cabinets in the living room. The lighthouse is a photo from where the client grew up. The original lighthouse is located on one of the Great Lakes and has been transformed for a beach scene. Completed March 2002.

This Faux Granite Column was painted to match the Granite Counters in Kitchen of this client. Note the detail of the faux granite in the close-up view.
